1976 Topps Traded #259T - Darrel Chaney


  • After spending seven seasons as a backup infielder for the Cincinnati Reds, Darrel Chaney was traded to the Atlanta Braves for pinch hitter Mike Lum.
  • Chaney became the starting shortstop for the Braves in 1976 and batted .252 in 153 games.
  • Darrel spent three more seasons (1977-1979) as a backup infielder for Atlanta before he was released after the 1979 season.
