- Larvell Blanks was the starting shortstop with the Atlanta Braves in 1975
- Blanks was traded twice in one day. The Braves traded him to the Chicago White Sox on December 12, 1975. Later that same day Blanks was traded to the Cleveland Indians.
- Larvell was used as a utilityman by the Indians from 1976-1978.
- Blanks had his best season in 1976, batting .280 in 104 games.
