- Pete Falcone was traded to the St. Louis Cardinals after his rookie year in 1975.
- Pete went 12-16 with a 3.23 ERA for the Cards in 1976.
- Falcone had some arm problems in 1977 (he missed the entire month of August) and wasn't the same pitcher after that season.
- Falcone spent three seasons with the Cardinals before being traded to the New York Mets.
