I knew he looked familiar, but it wasn't until he was about to leave that I asked him if was Brian Downing. He was well mannered and unassuming. He had listened to so much advice from my boss, that he was ready to leave. So, I didn't have time to say much, except that I thought he was a great player who hustled.
